National Doctors’ Day 2021 : Save the Saviours

National doctors' day was first celebrated on July 1st 1991 all across India to honour the legendary physician Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy. India has shown remarkable improvement in the medical field and July 1 pays tribute to all the doctors who have made relentless efforts towards achieving the goal irrespective of the odds.

Amid covid-19 pandemic, doctors all around the world have been recognized for their selfless service. Working in continuous shifts and putting their own health in danger, this day gives a perfect opportunity to salute their work. Doctors are truly the greatest heroes of not just the present but all time.

Doctor is blessed with the magical powers to treat and to bring health into our lives. In this covid-19, we are safe because they are there to serve. They are there to take care of us 24/7. They are dealing with shortage of medical staff, equipment, treating patients in uncomfortable PPE kit. Around 1500 doctors lost their lives during this period. Nowadays doctors are more worried about their safety. Violence against doctors is increased. On this doctors' day let us pay gratitude to the doctors for the dedicated services in the field of healthcare.
